EWB-Palestine
EWB-Palestine (Engineers Without Borders –
Palestine) is a part of EWB-International Group (http://www.ewb-international.org). Since
31-7-2006 EWB-Palestine finally registered in Palestinian ministry
of interior as a nonprofit, non-political and
non-confessional association that acknowledges the
importance of technological and scientific knowledge
for a sustainable development of the world and the
right of all people to this knowledge.
The mission of EWB-Palestine is to "partner with
Palestinian disadvantaged communities to improve
their quality of life through the implementation of
environmentally and economically sustainable
engineering projects, while developing
internationally responsible engineers and
engineering students". EWB-Palestine links
engineers, engineering students and faculty with
professional engineers to work on development
projects worldwide.
